Happy Dreamer module
German company Ebicos has presented the Happy Dreamer slide-out sleeping module, which turns a small van into a camper. The module weighs about 60 kg, measures 120 x 130 x 28 cm when folded, and unfolds into a double bed up to 160 x 210 cm. Installation takes about 10 minutes and requires no tools.
Prices and compatibility
Manual version costs €6,250, electric from €9,990. Kitchen module Happy Cook — €1,250. A full kit in a 2018 Volkswagen T6 van costs €33,540. The module is compatible with over 20 models, including Volkswagen Transporter, Caddy, Ford Transit Custom, Peugeot Partner, Mercedes Vito, Renault Trafic and Citroën Jumpy. Production is in Rothenburg, Germany, warranty three years, delivery time about 4 weeks.
