Cubivan Camping System (CCS)
At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf (August 28 – September 6), the modular Cubivan Camping System (CCS) was presented, converting a five-seat Volkswagen ID. Buzz van into a camper for two people. The system consists of a sliding rear module with a kitchen and a bio-toilet, and a folding roof sleeper with a bed measuring about 2×2 meters. The prototype is also compatible with Volkswagen Caravelle, Ford Tourneo Custom and Mercedes-Benz Vito.
Order intake will begin in summer 2027, with deliveries at the end of 2027. The estimated price of the kit is from €22,000 to €25,000 excluding the vehicle. According to one source, the deposit ranges from €150 to €600 and will be credited toward the purchase.
