Stellantis Japan introduced the Fiat Professional brand at the Japan Truck Show 2026 in Yokohama. Alongside the familiar Ducato, the mid-size LCV Scudo was shown, set to enter the Japanese market in 2027.
The Scudo sits between the Ducato and Doblo. A 6-seat Crew Cab version with a length of 4980 mm was displayed. The cargo area measures up to 1.9 m in length, 1.3 m in width, 1.3 m in height, with a volume of up to 6.6 cubic meters and a payload of about 1000 kg.
It is powered by diesel turbo engines ranging from 145 to 180 hp (1.5–2 L), paired with a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission. The Japanese specification is not yet finalised, but an 8-speed automatic is expected. An electric E-Scudo version is also under consideration. The Scudo is seen as a camper base and an alternative to Japanese commercial vans.
