The Fiat Ducato is an Italian light commercial van that has become the dominant chassis platform for European motorhomes and campervans — the majority of European factory motorhomes are built on the Ducato or its rebadged variants (Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer).
The current Ducato generation (X290, from 2014) is available with 2.2 MultiJet diesel engines from 120–180 hp. Standard wheelbases: L3 (3.75 m) and L4 (4.035 m). The electric E-Ducato launched in 2022 serves as the base for the first electric motorhome conversions.
