FIAT Professional describes the Ducato as Europe's best-selling base for motorhomes, with more than 40 years of production. The range covers vans for camper conversions and separate chassis bases for coachbuilt motorhomes, including the lower and lighter Chassis Special and widened rear-track configurations. Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, an intelligent speed assistant and active lane keeping, plus Captain Chair seats with swivel bases. Spanish converter Nomade Nation builds its Neo, Neo S, Space and Space S models on the Ducato L3H2 base, with 20 mm Kaiflex insulation and up to four berths. Support comes from more than 6,500 FIAT Professional workshops in Europe, 1,800 of which belong to the Fiat Camper Assistance network.
