Two new campers: Bürstner Signature SMT and Ari 458 Pro

Hymer has introduced two new Crossover models based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: the ML-T 570 and the Grand Canyon S 600. They come standard with all-wheel drive, underbody protection for the engine and water tank, all-terrain tires, and an LED light bar. The onboard systems promise up to 10 days of independent travel. The layouts differ: the ML-T 570 features two single beds at the rear and a convertible seating area, while the Grand Canyon S 600 has a transverse bed measuring 1.95 x 1.35 meters. Dethleffs has expanded its range of compact motorhomes with the Just Van model, built on the Fiat Ducato. The vehicle is 2.20 meters wide, 2.73 meters high, and ranges from 5.99 to 6.98 meters in length. Three floor plans are available, including a new T5 version with a lounge featuring two opposing sofas. The motorhome includes a full kitchen, a rotating bathroom, and a rear cargo area. Prices start at 60,999 euros for the T1 version.

In St. Peter-Ording (SPO), a dispute has arisen over the lack of a public disposal station for motorhomes. One camper refused to pay the spa tax in protest, while the authorities and the tourist center point to existing rules and fines. The campsite operator says it has long offered disposal services.

On Sunday, August 9, at around 4:20 a.m., unknown persons stole a Citroen Jumper motorhome in the city center of Neuss. The vehicle with license plate NE-CC 1926 was parked on Kaiser-Friedrich-Straße, near Drususallee.
