Dongfeng has launched the Xinghai V9, a seven-seat pop-top camper, with prices starting at 258,800 yuan for the seven-seat version and 278,800 yuan for the higher trim. The vehicle features a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system with an electric range of 200 km and a combined range of 1,300 km, plus 6 kW of external power output. Inside, there are two sleeping areas: a roof bed measuring 0.95 by 1.9 meters and a fold-down third row that creates a bed of approximately 1.6 by 1.2 meters. The four-seat version offers a larger flat bed of 1.8 by 1.4 meters.
