Ciclope Camper has introduced the new generation of the Mencia model based on the Ford Transit at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. The lineup includes three variants: Mencia 230, Mencia 420, and Mencia 420e. The Mencia 230 is offered only in L3H3 configuration without a cab pass-through, the Mencia 420 is available in L3H2 and L3H3 with a pass-through, and the Mencia 420e features a pop-up roof and four sleeping places. The Mencia 230 is aimed at couples or families with one child, the Mencia 420 at families with two children.
Equipment includes an induction hob, natural stone, Catania oak furniture, Corian countertops, and a chemical toilet. The engine is a 2.0-liter Ford diesel with 130, 150, or 170 hp; automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are optionally available.
Prices in Spain (excluding taxes): Mencia 420 — €64,495, Mencia 420e — €72,760, Mencia 230 — €51,232. According to one source, the Mencia 230 price refers to the previous version based on Maxus. Ciclope is also working on its first fully electric camper based on Ford, details are not yet disclosed.
