HMT presented the X Sani, a self-contained self-cleaning toilet for motorhomes, at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. The system uses microwaves instead of gas, water or chemicals to incinerate waste into ash. Processing one kilogram of content requires about one kilowatt-hour, with a peak load of around 56 amperes at 48 volts. Availability in Germany and pricing have not been announced.
