Karmann has introduced the Dexter 555, based on a Fiat Ducato with a 140 hp diesel engine. The vehicle measures 5.99 m in length, 2.05 m in width, and about 2.90 m in height with the insulated high roof. Standard seating is for four, with an optional fifth seat. The key feature is an electric double bed that lowers from the high roof above the seating area, plus two single beds at the rear, providing four fixed berths without sacrificing daytime living space. Standard equipment includes a 120 Ah lithium battery, diesel heater, cruise control, cab air conditioning, Isofix mounts, electric step, and heated waste water tank. Fresh water capacity is 100 L, waste water 100 L, and the fridge has 113 L. Prices start at €72,400.
