On the night of May 1, police in Florence arrested two Bulgarian nationals — a 33-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman — on suspicion of stealing from a campervan. The incident occurred on Via Pistoiese. The suspects damaged a window, entered the vehicle, and stole belongings.
After the theft, they attempted to escape on a scooter, driving against traffic, and then on foot. The man resisted arrest. Police seized burglary tools from the suspects, and the scooter was found to be stolen. Both appeared in court under an expedited procedure.
