On August 2, police checked 21 vehicles and combinations on the A61 in Worms as part of holiday traffic control. Five were overloaded, with one caravan exceeding its limit by 27 percent, leading to a fine. Two cargo securing violations were also found, including an unsecured gas cylinder.
