A car and a camper van collided on the A22 Brenner motorway near Ala on the evening of 24 October. Both vehicles were badly damaged and came to a stop on the carriageway. The injured were taken to hospital and are not believed to have suffered serious consequences. The southbound entry slip road at Ala/Avio is closed and traffic is being diverted to a mandatory exit. Emergency services, firefighters, traffic police and A22 staff are working at the scene.
