Detached caravan ends up in ditch in Lekkerkerk

On Monday afternoon, a caravan that detached from its towing vehicle on a bend ended up in a ditch along Kerkweg in Lekkerkerk, near hotel-restaurant De Witte Brug. A small recovery vehicle and a truck from a contracting company were used to pull the caravan out of the water, a process that took about two hours. No injuries were reported, and the exact cause remains unknown.
