A fire broke out on Wednesday evening at a motorhome storage facility on Provincialeweg Noord in Almkerk. Eight motorhomes were destroyed, while the building itself sustained limited damage. The fire started around 19:00 and was visible from afar due to heavy smoke, prompting a GRIP 1 response. Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to a nearby shed, and the fire was declared under control at 20:23. No injuries were reported.
