Several caravans caught fire early Wednesday morning at the Hundsweiher-Sägemühle campsite in the Schwarzbach valley. The occupant escaped seconds before the flames spread. Firefighting was hampered by poor water supply, requiring a several-hundred-meter hose line from a pond. The fire was brought under control within an hour; no injuries were reported. Cause and damage are under investigation.
