On the morning of July 31, a fire broke out in a caravan at a campsite in Süssau. A family sleeping inside left it unharmed. A 51-year-old man extinguished the fire with water, sustaining minor burns and suspected smoke inhalation. The cause is under investigation by the criminal police in Oldenburg.
