Late Wednesday evening, a flash occurred at a campsite in Kirtorf-Heimertshausen, which developed into a fire. One caravan was completely destroyed, and a deceased person was found inside. Approximately 50 firefighters battled the flames using water from a nearby swimming pool, with the presence of gas cylinders creating additional danger.
