Since May 16, a traveling community (Pentecostals) has illegally occupied private land in Longvic (Côte-d'Or) after the closure of the municipality's large transit area. Mayor Céline Tonot (PS) states the area was damaged by previous visitors, with repairs expected by May 31. The community claims it received verbal permission from the town hall and promises to leave in a week to ten days. The town hall denies any agreement and is preparing an eviction order; issues with illegal electricity hookups and garbage accumulation have also been reported.
