A caravan burned down completely on Rutermedenweg in Weerselo on Thursday evening. Firefighters arrived within minutes but could not save it. The cause is unknown.
On Thursday evening, around 22:25–22:30, a caravan on Rutermedenweg in Weerselo (Dinkelland) was completely destroyed by fire. The fire service received the report and arrived on scene, but by then the caravan was already fully engulfed in flames.
Due to the lack of nearby water supply points, an additional water tanker was deployed. After the fire was contained, extinguishing work continued. The caravan was completely destroyed. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
