On Tuesday afternoon around 4:30 PM, a Volkswagen camper van was completely destroyed by fire on Benatzkystraat in Tilburg. The fire is believed to have started due to a technical fault in the engine compartment when the owner was reversing out of a parking space. An attempt to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher failed, and the van became fully engulfed. Firefighters extinguished the blaze but could not prevent the vehicle from being completely burned out. No injuries were reported. The camper van was removed by a recovery company.
