In Bari, campers and makeshift camps have reappeared in the parking lot on Corso Mazzini in the Libertà district, despite existing bans. City councilor Luca Bratta reported that people are using the lot as if it were private property and called for increased oversight. Maintenance work on green areas scheduled for September 2-3 has not reassured residents, who fear the area will again fall into neglect.
