French manufacturer Bore has introduced the X4 expanding caravan for the 2027 model year. The body measures 1.95 m wide on the road; after stopping, three modules slide out to the sides and increase the width to 4.6 m in about 60 seconds. The expanded living area is 12 sq m and includes a kitchen, bathroom, lounge and bedroom for four people. The modules are driven by an electric motor powered by a 100 Ah leisure battery, and furniture moves with them. The maximum permissible weight is 1,350 kg, with a reported payload of about 150 kg. The European starting price is €39,990.
