At the Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf (August 28 – September 6), Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will present two world premieres: a concept module with an inflatable kitchen and flexible bed for the California Beach, developed with Stuff Bubble, and the ID. California Cruise concept based on the ID. Buzz — the first fully electric California. The modules, weighing under 10 kg (kitchen) and 6–12 kg (bed), can be installed in minutes, allowing the vehicle to serve both daily driving and camping. The ID. California Cruise marks the transition of the California family to electric power.
