Mercedes-Benz will present the updated Marco Polo and its leisure-oriented Marco Polo Horizon at the Caravan-Salon in Düsseldorf (August 28 – September 6). The company also introduces a new all-wheel-drive option for fully integrated motorhomes based on the Sprinter. Production of the Marco Polo and Horizon will be brought in-house, allowing more flexibility. Improvements include lighting, shading, acoustics, and connectivity. Technical details and prices are not yet disclosed. The Torque-on-Demand AWD system will be available for fully integrated models, with the first prototype shown by Kabe as the Imperial Ri830 Traq 4x4. Last year, one in ten Sprinters was sold to motorhome customers.
