At the opening Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, the world's largest trade fair for motorhomes and caravans, one of the most expensive motorhomes is presented — a model the size of a tourist bus, sleeping five people and equipped with a garage for a sports car. Its price is 2.3 million euros.
According to another source, the most expensive model — the Vario Perfect 1200 QS Platinum with an integrated car garage — costs from 2.2 million euros. Thus, the price figures differ: one source says 2.3 million euros, the other says from 2.2 million euros.
The fair runs until Saturday, with more than 830 exhibitors in 15 halls. Organizers expect at least 250,000 visitors. The industry faces high inventories and declining demand after the pandemic, making it a buyer's market.
