Overlanding with a Mitsubishi L200 4x4 Camper

Owners of a camper based on the Mitsubishi L200 4x4 explain their choice of a pickup with a separate living module for off-road travel. They note that this configuration allows them to tackle difficult sections in US and Canadian national parks where four-wheel drive and high ground clearance are required. According to them, the camper provides autonomy with a shower, sleeping area, and solar panels, unlike vehicles with roof tents. A survey among overlander communities showed that 93% of 700 respondents chose BFGoodrich Ko2 All-Terrain tires as the most suitable for such trips.

Unique caravan with changeable interior: space adapts to families and couples

American manufacturer Search4 Outdoors has introduced the S4 travel trailer with a highly variable interior. Thanks to the e-track system, all furniture, including the kitchen, bathroom, and beds, can be moved and secured anywhere. The trailer is 5.2 meters long, extending to about 6 meters with the fold-out terrace. The construction contains no wood, reducing the risk of rot and mold. It is equipped with 800-watt solar panels and a 920 Ah battery, allowing off-grid use. Sold only in the US, priced at over 1.6 million koruna.

Mystery camper on Avia chassis spotted in Slovakia

A journalist from Polish magazine Classicauto found an unusual camper in Slovakia, believed to be homemade. The vehicle, featuring a Hymer-style body but built on an Avia truck chassis, was discovered near Žilina. Czech Avia enthusiasts claim it is a custom build, not a factory model. Inside, the steering wheel and gear lever are typical of Avia, with the brand logo visible, yet the cab shape and dashboard do not match any known Avia model, leaving its origin unclear.
