Sydney-based Contour Campers has converted a four-wheel-drive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a 170-inch wheelbase into an expedition-ready motorhome. A GVM upgrade with Gympie Spring Works springs raises payload by 330 kg to 4,430 kg; the build includes Falken Wildpeak off-road tires, an Aluminess front bumper with a 5,447 kg winch, a 500 W solar panel and a 600 Ah lithium battery with a 3,000 W inverter. The interior features a transverse 1.95 m by 1.5 m bed, a shower and toilet, a kitchen module with a 150 l Dometicⓘ fridge and a 100 l fresh water tank, aimed at extended off-grid travel.
