SpaceCamper and CampBoks: two new camper solutions for Ford and VW

The Olachgut campsite in Austria celebrated its 40th anniversary and received the 'Europaplatz' certificate from the European Camping Federation. Over four decades, the site grew from three plots on a sour meadow to a successful tourist destination, hosting around 800,000 guests annually. Owner Heimo Feiel attributed success to quality services and sustainability.

On June 4, a caravan was stolen in Unterhaching while a 43-year-old man was sleeping inside. He noticed the thieves when they hitched the caravan to a vehicle and immediately alerted the police. Officers quickly apprehended the suspects, who were also attempting to steal a second caravan. The total value of both vehicles is €15,000. Three suspects aged 28, 43, and 45 are in custody.

On June 10, on the A4 motorway towards Hungary, near the Weiden/Gols exit, a car collided with a car-caravan combination. The caravan was completely destroyed; several people sustained minor injuries.

The restaurant and shop at the Falkensteiner Camping Wörthersee in Klagenfurt have been taken over by restaurateur Manuel Wutscher. The venue will operate daily from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM, offering regional cuisine including pizza and pasta, and will be open to both campsite guests and external visitors. A soft opening is planned for late June, with an official opening in mid-July.

In Vienna, a 57-year-old camper van owner observed an attempted break-in of his vehicle and confronted the suspect. During the ensuing scuffle, the owner struck the 31-year-old man in the face. Police arrested the suspect and charged the owner with assault.
