Wild camping with motorhomes in Denmark repeatedly leads to conflicts between travellers and residents. At Aabenraa Fjord, up to ten motorhomes a day used a small car park as a free overnight spot, causing litter and annoyance among locals. Police distinguish between permitted 'resting' and prohibited 'camping' – setting up an awning, chairs or a table can result in a fine.
