A motorhome caught fire on Wednesday morning on the Helsingør motorway in the southbound direction. One lane was closed, causing growing traffic congestion, with no injuries reported.

A fee-based parking area for 10 motorhomes has opened on the Danish island of Rømø. The site fee ranges from 24 to 42 Danish kroner per night depending on the season, plus a tourist tax of 65 kroner per adult and 29 per child. The location offers water supply, electricity, showers, grey water disposal, and Wi-Fi.

Before the start of the season, caravan owners are advised to conduct a thorough inspection of their vehicle. Particular attention should be paid to the condition of the tires: even with sufficient tread depth, old or cracked tires over five years old can lead to a puncture. The 1953 Bedford Svanebussen motorhome, built on a Bedford Series O chassis, is on display at Egeskov Castle. The model was converted by the Danish company Svanerne from a truck into a living space for transporting dignitaries and tourist groups. The motorhome is equipped with a 6-cylinder, 4.9-liter engine producing 60 hp and has a top speed of 90 km/h.

A fire broke out in a caravan on Thursday at 11:35 in Aarsballe on the island of Bornholm. According to preliminary police investigations, the cause of the fire may have been a fault in a solar battery installed in the vehicle.

The Bornholm Fire Department responded to a fire in a caravan on a farm on Dyndegårdsvej in Klemensker on Thursday morning. At least four emergency vehicles were dispatched to the scene. No serious injuries have been reported.
