At Aabenraa Fjord, up to ten motorhomes a day used a small car park as a free overnight spot, causing litter and annoyance among locals. 75-year-old stopped in motorhome with knife and drugs in Denmark

On Thursday evening at around 23:40, police in Rødbyhavn stopped a British motorhome that had just disembarked from a ferry. The cabin smelled of hashish, and a drug test showed the 75-year-old driver was under the influence of THC. During a search, officers found a knife tucked into his belt and nearly 16 grams of cannabis. The man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, violating the knife law, and the controlled substances act. The Danish Immigration Service will decide whether he should be deported.
