Campsite sale
Swedish chain First Camp has put Klim Strand Camping near Jammerbugten in North Jutland up for sale. The site covers 265,000 sq m, includes 580 camping pitches and almost 7,000 sq m of buildings with a water park, spa, indoor play centre, restaurant and sports facilities. Expansion to 750 pitches has been approved.
Deal details
The price is 17.5 million Danish kroner. The sale is handled by EDC Erhverv Poul Erik Bech. According to Source 2, First Camp had owned the campsite since 2022; the reason for the sale is that the asset does not fit the business model of the group, which manages 70 campsites in six countries. This is the first time First Camp has sold one of its 17 Danish campsites. Until the deal, the campsite will continue to operate 365 days a year. Interest is expected from Danish and foreign buyers, particularly from Germany and the Netherlands.
