Motorhome owners in Sweden report a rise in signs banning motorhome parking, especially in tourist areas. Jessica Lundgren and Mathias Magnusson from Karlskrona, who own a converted van (Plåtis), say they cannot park even at ICA stores and consider such bans discriminatory. They note that in Kalmar, the number of such signs has increased sharply. The owners propose introducing three classes of motorhomes based on size so that smaller models are not affected by the bans.
