Registrations
In September 2026, Sweden registered 318 new motorhomes, compared with 301 in September 2025 (+5.6%). For January–September 2026, 5,152 motorhomes were registered, up from 3,516 a year earlier (+46.5%).
Caravan registrations fell to 72 units in September from 112 (-35.7%), and to 1,139 over nine months from 1,231 (-7.5%).
Context
According to Tillväxtverket, overnight stays at Swedish campsites increased by 3% in June–August compared with the same period last year. The Husvagns- och Husvilsbranschens Riksförbund notes that registration data include vehicles registered in advance due to rule changes and do not fully reflect sales to end customers.
