The South Korean city of Samcheok will run night enforcement against illegal parking and stopping of construction machinery, lorries and camping vehicles from 16 to 27 November. Checks will focus after 6pm on locations where large vehicles obstruct traffic and visibility, and in residential areas. Drivers of construction machinery and lorries will receive a warning on the first offence and fines or administrative penalties on repeat violations. Camper vans, caravans and trailers will be issued notices against long-term parking. Vehicles left for extended periods on free public car parks may be towed or face administrative action.
