Broadcaster Pungja posted an honest review of the PV5 camper van on her PungjaTV channel on the 19th, after about three months of ownership. She said she does not regret buying it, but that it has many drawbacks.
The drawbacks she named
- The charging port sits near the front hood, so pulling into a tight EV charging space is difficult. Pungja said other PV5 owners report the same problem.
- On bumpy roads and speed bumps the vehicle bounces and does not feel stable.
- The camper van is completely empty inside. It gets unbearably hot in summer and cold in winter, so insulation work is needed.
Pungja said many people choose the PV5 for its price, which can fall to the low 20 million won range after rebates and subsidies. Even at that price, she said, the vehicle cannot be used as a camper van without conversion work. She paid full price for hers; the model is sold from the 40 million won range to the 50 million won range.
