Alpincamper of Lenggries in Bavaria has presented the Vivaro Pro camper van based on the Opel Vivaro. The vehicle has no gas system: a Webastoⓘ heater runs on diesel, while a 16-litre Dometicⓘ cool box and a 1000-watt induction hob draw power from a Bluetti power station with a 2000-watt inverter. A 120-centimetre-wide sleeping bench with belts for three people is mounted on rails and allows up to seven occupants. The test vehicle has a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 140 PS and 370 Nm, with a towing capacity of up to 2.5 tonnes. A 150-PS diesel version will follow in autumn at a surcharge of around 1000 euros, and a manual gearbox saves 2000 euros.
