→ GlossaryJapanese company Car Interior Takahashi from Nagano has introduced the Relax Wagon KAKUKAKU camper based on the Toyota Hiace. The interior is designed like a traditional apartment: a U-shaped dining area converts into a bed, and it includes air conditioning, a Webasto heater, a sink, and a refrigerator. The price has not been announced, and sales are planned only in Japan.
An expedition motorhome based on the GAZ Sadko Next chassis features a fully integrated cab and 4x4 drivetrain. It is powered by a 210 hp YaMZ-53443 diesel engine with three 200-liter fuel tanks, offering a range of 1500–2000 km. Equipment includes pneumatic suspension, snorkel, winches, solar panels, Webasto diesel heater, and a bathroom. Built to order, price depends on configuration.
In 2026, a motorhome based on the MAN TGM 4×4 was introduced on the Russian market. The model is equipped with a 320 hp diesel engine, automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive. The living module includes a living room with a U-shaped sofa, a kitchen with a Liebherr refrigerator, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. Autonomy is ensured by a FUBAG generator, four 150 Ah batteries, six solar panels, a 300-liter water tank, and a Webasto heater.
The Vangri-La camper van, built on a Mercedes Sprinter 2500 chassis, has been unveiled. The project was developed by engineer and designer Gary Schulze. The van features 400 W solar panels, a 500 Ah lithium battery, a Webasto gas heater, and a water system with two tanks. The interior includes a bed with dog ventilation, hidden charging compartments, and a convertible kitchen.
US company Vanlife Northwest offers a conversion kit for the Toyota Hiace into a camper van. The Space Cabin kit costs $27,000; the van itself is sold separately ($20,000–$35,000). Interior includes: sofa-bed, two kitchen areas, 12V fridge, sink with pump, auxiliary battery, modular table, solid wood storage boxes, vinyl flooring, LED lights with USB ports. Optional: Webasto diesel heater, grey water tank. Total price ($47,000–$62,000) is lower than a branded motorhome.
A camper van based on the Volkswagen T5 Long with a tourist configuration is presented. The vehicle is registered in Poland, measures 560 cm in length, and is equipped with a 2496 cm³ diesel engine. The interior includes two sleeping berths, a Webasto heater, air conditioning, a solar panel, and winter preparation.
Webasto has introduced updated roof air conditioners in the Cool Top Trail series, which use R32 refrigerant. This gas has three times lower global warming potential compared to R410A, and the units themselves are 0.5 kg lighter. The line includes five models with power from 2 to 3.6 kW, suitable for motorhomes, camper vans, and caravans.

From April 9 to 12, BolognaFiere hosts the Fit Your Camper exhibition for motorhome and caravan accessories. The area exceeds 10,000 m², with brands like Dometic, Truma, Webasto, and Eberspächer. Tickets: €6, €5 online.
Promobil magazine has compiled a list of 15 new accessories for preparing camper vans for the 2026 season. The selection includes the compact folding e-bike Qio Eins, the electric contact grill Design BBQ Pro, the lightweight starter battery Lite Blox, and the inflatable awning tent Isabella X-Tension Bus-Vorzelt. Also featured are the Webasto Cool Top Trail 28 air conditioning unit, the Brixton Crossfire XS motorcycle, and various storage and comfort solutions.

Japanese engineer Yudai Kawase manually converted a regular truck into a removable camper with a kitchen, large bed, insulation and Webasto heating.
A new alcove motorhome based on the Iveco Daily 2025 is now available for order in Vladivostok, with delivery from China taking five to six weeks. The vehicle is built on a 3.0-liter diesel chassis, measures nearly 6 meters long, and requires a category C license due to its 4.5-ton mass. Key features include two slide-outs, 800 Ah lithium batteries, 1200 W solar panels, a diesel Webasto heater, a washer-dryer, air conditioning, and a 90-liter boiler.
