British company Wheelhome has unveiled the foldable micro-caravan Dashaway ECT, originally designed for the Tesla Model 3 but now compatible with several electric vehicles. When folded, it measures 3.8 × 1.1 meters and weighs 370 kg, minimizing impact on driving range.
At the campsite, the caravan unfolds in about five minutes, offering a sleeping area of 196×127 cm, standing height of 1.8 m, two seats, a table, an induction hob, a sink, a microwave, a 12-liter refrigerator, and space for a portable toilet. Power comes from a 3 kWh battery and solar panels, plus an external 10-liter tank.
The price is stated differently: according to one source it is about 22,780 euros, according to another it is 19,750 pounds (about 22,780 euros).
