Young staff at the Hotaru no Sato auto campsite in Numata, Hokkaido, have developed a dedicated booking management system. The system integrates reservations, check-in, payments and communication via LINE. The aim is to reduce administrative workload and increase the time staff spend with guests. The campsite receives over 2,000 guests during peak season, and its official LINE account grew from about 2,500 to about 6,000 followers over three years. The system has already attracted enquiries from campsites from the Kanto region to Hokkaido.
