The Nauheim municipal council unanimously approved an extension of the current contract with the operator of the Hegbachsee campsite until 31 December 2028. The council also tasked the municipal executive with presenting alternative concepts for the future use and operation of the campsite, including a possible sale of the site, by the 2027 budget. Operator Uwe Hochwimmer said he is willing to discuss development ideas.
