In Brief

ADAC begins demolition at the lower campsite at Möhnesee in September. On 17,000 sqm, 116 pitches for motorhomes, campers, caravans and tents will be created. Permanent campers had to vacate by end of 2025.

In September, demolition work will begin on the lower ADAC site in Körbecke as part of the "ADAC Ferienwelt Möhnesee" project. On an area of 17,000 sqm, 116 pitches for motorhomes, campers, caravans and tents will be created. Almost all existing buildings will be demolished, except for the sanitary building at the sailing school, which will be renovated.

The new campsite will be automated: digital booking, barrier with access code and contactless check-in. Management will be carried out directly by ADAC, not by a tenant. The project also includes a gastronomy area and use of the site for events.

According to ADAC, the goal is a "modern campsite for many target groups". Permanent campers had to vacate their pitches and hand them over in perfect condition by the end of 2025.
