The Braga campsite received 5,027 guests between July and September 2026 and recorded 11,266 overnight stays. The average stay was 2.24 nights and revenue reached €97,349.34. Average revenue per overnight stay was €8.64, up 5.4% on the same period in 2025.
Months and markets
August was the busiest month, with 2,162 guests and 4,893 overnight stays. In July the site received 1,528 guests and recorded 3,450 overnight stays, while September counted 1,337 guests and 2,923 overnight stays.
Spain led in number of guests with 1,575, up 11.7% on the third quarter of 2025, followed by France with 1,075 and Portugal with 1,009. In overnight stays Portugal took first place with 3,575 nights, followed by Spain (2,603) and France (2,014). The Italian and Brazilian markets also grew, with 169 and 122 guests respectively, increases of 20.7% and 40.2% on the same period.
Altino Bessa, vice-president of Braga city council, said the campsite plays an important role in diversifying the tourist offer and welcoming visitors. "We want this experience to begin with the welcome we provide. The campsite has a very important role in this commitment, offering a way to discover the territory and enjoy the city," he said.
