As part of the National Health Equity Program 2021–2027, Sicily has launched the operational phase of medical motorhomes. The project, presented by the ASP of Messina, uses mobile clinics to deliver healthcare to economically, geographically, and socially disadvantaged areas. In 2025, stationary clinics already served hundreds of patients; mobile units now extend coverage.
