Four campsites in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern are among Germany's 25 most dog-friendly campsites, according to an evaluation of guest reviews by PiNCAMP, the ADAC camping portal. The ranking is based on about 500,000 guest reviews from across Europe, from which an AI-assisted analysis identified around 12,500 statements about camping with dogs. The highest-placed in the region is ostseequelle.camp in the Wismar Bay at 13th, followed by Genuss-Ferien Strandcamping Jabeler See at 14th, Barracuda Beach Camping am See at 23rd and Campingpark Kühlungsborn at 24th. Only sites that allow dogs and have at least ten relevant reviews from 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2026 were included.
