The owners of the former Aquadrom water park site in Bad Urach intend to convert the vacant area into a 40–50 pitch motorhome stopover and operate it after the 2027 garden show. Construction is expected to start no earlier than January 2028, once the garden show installations have been dismantled. The city is amending the development plan under an accelerated procedure and will sign a contract with the owners covering tasks and cost sharing; the municipal council is due to give final approval on 3 November.
