Camping-Car Park network and the commune of Fontenoy-la-Joûte in Meurthe-et-Moselle have announced the opening of a 12-pitch motorhome stopover. Located at 2 Route de Glonville, it has been operational since August 5. The site offers electricity, drinking water, Wi-Fi, waste water disposal, waste collection and security. Camping-Car Park, a private network founded in 2011, operates over 800 stopovers and campsites across Europe and plans to open 225 more in 2026. The company reports average user spending of €56, with €44 benefiting local shops, and claims to have paid over €16 million to partner municipalities in 2025, though these figures are not independently verified.
