The city council of Santiago de Compostela has granted permission for a tourist campsite for caravans and motorhomes in the Tambre industrial estate (according to one source, Tambre-Norte). The site is located in Rebordaos, at Rebordaos, 16B.
The central camping area will cover about 1,600 square metres and provide 40 pitches. One source adds a rear area of 280 square metres for vehicle parking. The single-storey buildings (129.60 square metres) will include a reception, library, games room, washrooms, toilets, and, according to one source, laundry facilities. There will also be a dumping zone, a picnic area, and a swimming pool.
The permit was issued after the process began in August 2024; the environmental document budget was €30,000. The new facility will be a private alternative to the existing As Cancelas and San Marcos campsites.
