Plans to redevelop Glendale Holiday Park in Port Carlisle have been approved by a Cumberland Council planning officer. The project involves demolishing existing sales, reception and leisure buildings and constructing a new central facilities building of about 910 square metres, including pools, gym, offices, sales area, plus a caravan showground and upgraded sewage treatment. Permission was granted subject to conditions, with the officer's report stating the modern functional design is appropriate for the site and will preserve local amenities and landscape.
