Moray Council has approved plans to add 57 static holiday caravan pitches at Riverview Country Park in Mundole, Forres, despite numerous objections from residents. The council stated the proposal is acceptable and does not represent overdevelopment. The park, which dates back to the 1960s, currently has 128 residential pitches, 36 holiday static pitches, and 20 touring pitches.

The applicant argues that the district has a shortage of traveller pitches and that the family will be responsible residents. The city council must weigh the objections against the family's personal circumstances; no decision date has been set.
